159] – [From the ground up! Alexander & Azvon wreak havoc!]

Standing on the air, overlooking the empire of gold and grey, eight masters.

This lineup contained multiple people at the Heaven Surpassing Realm. Alexander and Azvon at the peak, Emperor Gu Vanio and Empress Effa Vanio at the second stage and both the First King Asta Vanio and Second Queen Tania Vanio at the first stage.

As for the Third Queen Elmana Vanio and the Fourth King Jarold Vanio, son of a concubine, they were both at the Calamity Enduring Realm's peak.

Some would believe the True Martial Legacy to have the advantage, while others would think otherwise. The true answer could only be found through blood.

"Brother Azvon, look at them. Are you sure you want to go first? It's one against four in the same major realm." Playfully talking with his arms crossed, Alexander saw a hand dismiss him.

"Ha! Brother Alexander is too worrisome. If you want to fight them as well, this old man won't stop you!"

"Good."

"You two peasants! This Emperor will smash your heads into a pulp!"

Noticing a set of colorful lights to be blinking throughout the air, Azvon warned.

"Careful. Even if we have a much higher prowess, the True Martial Legacy is not named as such for nothing! They stole remnants of the True Martial Sect."

Hearing this, Alexander kept thinking of a move in his arsenal. Something that was not his to begin with.

Gu Vanio sending a golden fist, rays of seven colors splashed around. Like rainbows brought to life.

"[True Martial Fist]!"

"So impatient. I never thought the mighty Emperor of Limbo to be this cumbersome. [Silver Palm]."

A radiant fist and a palm of silver metal colliding, the winds screeched, pushing everything away. Rainbows exploded while a silver glow began to eat Gu Vanio's defenses.

"Strong!" Grimacing in a fit of panic, he glanced at his wife for help.

"Not so fast!" Seeing Effa Vanio make her move, Azvon sent another strike, a giant palm of silver light.

The fight at a standstill, Alexander flew ahead. He watched the four youths converge on Azvon.

"Look at you all. You're so cute. Why not take my move?" A smile seen, Alexander put one arm high up and one far below. Smashing his hands together, the world rumbled.

The clouds from all over the world gathered while earthquakes shook the empire.

From beneath, the countless houses were uprooted, a giant arm of earth erupting. From above, the clouds churned, a giant arm of clouds falling down.

In between the two, the Kings and Queens turned pale, space sealed tightly. The two arms colliding, a maw of fingers smashed them, heaven and earth meeting.

"You..!" Gritting his teeth, Gu Vanio desperately looked toward his children and wife.

"If you bastards want to play with this Emperor, then I will entertain you!" Retreating, he was not halted by Azvon. They were here for fun, not to completely obliterate their toys.

Sighing in relief, Gu Vanio saw everyone to be alive. While his four children suffered some injuries, nothing came off as serious.

"Let's teach these peasants the power of our True Martial Legacy!" Spreading out, they opened their arms wide. A golden luster escaping them, it descended in direction of the golden empire below.

A pentagram of gold glimmering far beneath, a giant array of gold flashed.

"Three Golden Locks Grand Array!!!"

Following his heartfelt scream, beautiful chains and cuffs of gold wrapped around the intruders. Alexander and Azvon were caught without a care, chained like criminals.

"It's not a bad array. First time seeing it." Not panicked in the slightest, they curiously glanced at the group ahead.

"Are you really relying on this? So what if our cultivations are sealed to the second stage? Do you think we wouldn't anticipate a similar outcome?"

Seething in rage, Gu and Effa Vanio spat in anger.

"You scoundrels!"

"Understand your shortcomings!"

Effa Vanio taking out a thin azure sword, she brandished it with confidence. Taking steps one at a time, very slowly, she froze on each. Every step causing the world to flicker in colorful lights, she cleaved toward the both of them.

"[True Martial Sword Strike]!"

Narrowing his eyes, Alexander's face turned ashen.

'So that's where it came from… this so called True Martial Sect!' Forming a sword of energy, Alexander did the same, endless golden chains fluttering at his every move.

"[True Martial Sword Strike]!"

Two invisible intents clashing, a crack in the air appeared. A vortex spawning, it began to attract everything near it. A small black hole.

The light of Limbo bending, the black spot grew.

Flying past him, Azvon's hands began to lit up in black flames. Sending a fist from afar, a giant one of abyssal blazes formed.

"What is this!?" Hoping to defend against this strange attack, Gu Vanio took the forefront, meeting it head on with a giant golden shield in front.

The crash of the two uneventful, the flames slowly munched on the golden light.

"Honey! Grab the… never mind! Just focus on their blind spots!"

"…" Almost bursting out in laughter, they could not believe it.

"Listen mister Emperor, why not say important tactics with your Divine Sense?"

"Hmm? Brother Alexander, do you mean Celestial Sense? You wouldn't still have a Divine Sense, would you?"

Raising a brow, Alexander waved his hand.

"Of course I don't, but I prefer the name."

"Stop ignoring us!" Spatial fluctuations rippling all around, countless portals opened all around the two of them.

"Brother Azvon… are they really hoping to use such an overused technique?"

Massaging his glabella, Azvon was speechless.

"I think we overestimated the True Martial Legacy. No wonder they can't even hope to defeat a single saint, even with such an array."

The True Martial Legacy was a major power constituted of a family structure. And as such, it was run like one. It was a peaceful empire of great scenery, but that was it. If only they did not have such blind ambitions, the saints would never show hostility toward them.

However, even with their lack of combat related experience when compared with other major forces, their cultivations were still there.

"By the way, do you think they cultivated to this point with pills?"

Stroking his beard, Azvon nodded.

"That could be the case. But even then, with the heritage of the True Martial Sect, a power rumored to have existed before Limbo, it isn't such an issue for them."

"Indeed."

As they finished chatting, six figures began to emerge from some of the portals.

Sighing, Alexander was the first to make his move.

Snapping his fingers, a faint purple shockwave damaged the stability of space itself as far as it went. The portals warping and quivering, they abruptly closed.

A few screams of pain and fear clearly heard, they watched with their Celestial Senses three youths tear up. The Emperor, First King and Second Queen had their bodies split in half.

"Reckless…" Shaking his head in lament, Alexander sighed as well.

Gazing at a crawling man floating on the air, he saw Gu Vanio laugh like a maniac. His body began to emit a deep blue glow.

Shocked, Azvon grabbed Alexander's sleeve and retreated.

"This is bad, this idiot is using True Time to heal himself."

"Is that such a big deal? What will happen if he really does it?"

"Not much, but the problem is the range. Look, the glow is reaching a bit too far and too deep. Clearly, it's his first time. He shows no cautiousness… did he forget about it? Or can't he think because of the pressure?"

To answer his hidden question, Alexander saw Gu Vanio turn pale, coughing blood furiously as he was electrified out of nowhere.

"Time Order. This is put in place as to avoid people messing with True Time. I don't know who made it first, probably the Heavens, but with it in place, you don't want to do what he just did. If you want to heal yourself, always be mindful of the range. And even then… I wouldn't try it unless forced to do so."

"Otherwise, what would the world become? If anyone at the Law Immortal Realm could just rewind the time of the entirety of Limbo without consequences, it would be beyond chaotic."

With squinted eyes, Alexander solemnly nodded. As for the use of True Time against him, he did not care. Every being past the Law Immortal Realm, aware of their power, would always keep a domain active around them. Like a second layer of skin almost. This prevented True Time from being manipulated inside of them directly.

As for the show ahead, Gu Vanio was in shambles.

"Too bad… I hope brother Alexander is not too disappointed with them."

"Don't worry about it. They were just an appetizer."

Turning his head, Azvon had wide eyes.

"You don't mean…"

"After we're done here… Next will be the saints!"

"Hold on!!"

"Brother Alexander, you are jumping around too much. Even if we have a high chance of winning, fighting the saints head on can be an issue. Especially so if there are multiple ones. Remember that each saint has a cultivation equal to our own. Some may even be hiding themselves, having become sages already."

"…" Shaking his impatience, Alexander nodded.

"My fault. Since escaping the underground dungeon… I feel strange. Maybe dizzy from the Heart Demon… But still, do you have a plan against them?"

Stroking his beard with a valiant smile, Azvon spoke with enthusiasm.

"We can always get them to come to us first! This Azvon has been living in the Core Territory for so many eras, I know quite a bit about them. We could try to uproot the Mu Clan first. There are so many descendants from the Saint of Chaos there… Or maybe the Light Blossoming Sect? Apparently the Saint of Light has some friends there."

With slightly widened eyes, Alexander chuckled.

"Brother Azvon… were you hiding a resentment deeper than mine? Also, is it fine to kill them in reality? Won't the Heavens care?"

With memories of his time as an Overlord, Alexander knew the Heavens to sometimes be quite picky with the rules. They whitelisted even cultivators.

"It's fine! Don't worry about it. The saints are not protected by them. And if they die, won't the hidden masters at our level take their positions? Everything will be fine."

"Well, I'll trust your words. And after it's done… I'm already excited about the world of sages!"

"Haha! Well said! Though I am still not sure…"

"…"

"Let's leave this for another time, we have guests that need to be entertained." Finishing his words, Alexander turned around, slashing the air.

A crescent of spatial fluctuations aimed at a haggard man, his body was suddenly beheaded.

"That's the Emperor. Onto the Empress-"

"Oh… Brother Azvon is quick on the matter. Guess it will be the First King then."

"No…"

"Please!"

"Help me!!"

Four against two. Chains of gold scattering, silver domains expanding.

Pleading in shame, the kings and queens of the True Martial Legacy.
