160] – [Mu]

Far away from the Saint Hall, lost in the woods and plains, owning a large piece of land, a great amount of structures. Distanced buildings of luxurious wood and stone, metallic array nodes dispersed all around it.

A few pagodas emerged, shielding the sun from some of the shorter structures.

The hegemon of the Core Territory's eastern area for all to envision.

Floating above this scenery of peace and quiet, two men.

"Brother Alexander, here is the Mu Clan. There should be some descendants of the Saint of Chaos in here. But please… let me do it."

Crossing his arms, Alexander perked his ears. A muffled sound coming out of his mouth.

"Something happened between the two of you?"

"…" His eyes freezing, Azvon glared at the scene beneath. His arms casually behind his back.

"Sort of. Personal matters. I always hated his guts, an arrogant bastard who doesn't know his place. He kept spitting on my research when we were younger. If not for my Heart Demon, I would have smashed his face into a pulp way before he could speak a word more."

"I see… Well. Have fun!" Retreating a bit, Alexander prepared himself to watch a good show. Hidden by his Divine Sense, nobody below the Heaven Surpassing Realm should be able to see him normally.

As for this Mu Clan, the strongest was barely at the Calamity Enduring Realm's peak. Nothing worth worrying about.

And when it came to Azvon, he was currently sneaking in, strolling around the clan with light steps, gently caressing the grass with his feet. He looked like an ordinary old man taking a walk. Yet, he stood inside a powerful clan of Limbo.

Spanning such a large area, the Mu Clan had been present in Limbo ever since the second imprint. This meant the Mu Clan to have existed before the Inner Territory was even created.

Back then, Limbo was not divided. Even the rumored Sealed Gate of now was apparently in full view. The territories of now united, Limbo was a chaotic place. To bring peace of mind to themselves, titans of cultivation took the roles of leaders.

Massacring the weak while crushing the strong. After the strongest entity of Limbo appeared, this being immediately cut a portion of Limbo, keeping it to themselves. And so, the Sealed Gate was born.

The Dao of Space this being had was unmatched, even capable of offsetting the Heavens' original mayhem.

Unfortunately for many, few could ever hope to attain this person's shadow in spatial ability.

Hailed as the most proficient entity of the Space Dao, Earth Transcending Hujima ruled for many years.

Or so it was rumored. Being kept away from the Sealed Gate, the sparse population of Limbo would once again be divided by the greatest master of an era, a master of time, someone who loathed Hujima from the depths of his soul. To prove his claims, he did not hesitate when birthing his title.

Heaven Surpassing Goliath.

And so, under his rule, the Core Territory appeared.

Then came the turn of the Inner Territory of now. Distanced from the Outer Territory created at the same time.

It was under the rule of a certain man of incredible longevity and arrogance that this came to be.

First Martial Dynasty's ruler, Monarch Lu.

A man whose rule lasted for eons. Recently having left his seat for unknown reasons. Leaving behind the new Ninth Martial Dynasty. Which would most likely become the Tenth Martial Dynasty very soon.

A being of mysterious background and history. His true body being Lu Shu, Saint of the Void. One of the oldest saints of the Saint Hall.

His reputation was quite average, being both good and bad depending on the area. An arcane figure who despised everything. Unbothered by the winds of the world.

From after Heaven Surpassing Goliath's disappearance one day, many powers emerged to claim the throne of strongest. The Core Territory once again plunged into mayhem.

During this time, the Mu Clan rose to prominence, defeating many sects, clans, empires and kingdoms. Civilizations uprooted.

Unfortunately for them, they would be unable to compete for the very top as their strength began to steadily decline.

Now, they were known as nothing more than a first rate clan.

If not for their ancestor's prestige, the Mu Clan would have never been able to survive.

It was only because of him that the Mu Clan could keep their share of Limbo.

Hearing this story from a powerful Celestial Sense, Alexander responded with his own.

°And that's where you come in, eradicating them for good. This ancestor must then be that one saint.°

Chuckling, Azvon nodded from afar.

°Indeed. The Saint of Chaos is old and powerful. But it won't stop me from finishing a degrading clan. Mu Ryl must be bleeding from his heart as we speak.° Laughing like a madman, Azvon grabbed a young child from the neck.

"Don't blame this old man kid. Blame your ancestor for offending me! Blame my good memory! Blame your weakness!"

A child's neck crushed into mince meat, Alexander smirked.

'Even now he is teaching them before death. Truly a good mentor.' Unfazed by the massacre, the two exchanged words leisurely.

Far away, a man of dark red flames was frowning in pain.

Still purging the Mu Clan, Azvon slapped people to death while walking, ignoring the futile attempts of guards and descendants hoping to scratch his face.

°By the way, have you managed to comprehend more about the realm of sages?°

Exhaling with a long face, Alexander almost laughed at his very self.

°I wish. Even with the talents I gathered, this realm is elusive. All that I could gather was related to one's existence.°

Widening his eyes, Azvon immediately interrupted him.

°So that's it!°

°What?°

°I'm sure it is related to this! From all of my research, I have of course come across remnants of sages. Be it pieces of corpses or pictures and drawings, I have seen so many. But some of them made me shiver just by thinking about any of them. Like a woman named Kayli Deminol. I obtained a piece of mummified skin, but even after so many years and tribulations, this very small piece of skin emanated a profound aura!°

°To do so, one must have become an existence even the Heavens acknowledged!°

Caressing his chin, Alexander thought about the matter.

°Could be the case indeed… But for now it is nothing more than speculations.°

Finished with an area, Azvon gazed at the sky. Doing the same, Alexander of course noticed a decent bunch of auras converging on their positions.

As they arrived, stopping mid-air, they furiously glanced at the surrounding world. Structures shattered, friends and families bathing in their own blood. Colorful puddles forming rivers almost. Metallic pillars of array nodes reduced to ruins.

Without realizing it, Azvon had exterminated thousands of living beings, brought down hundreds of buildings.

"You must be the Mu Clan's current leader?"

Tightening his fists, a brown haired man of pale complexion grit his teeth.

"That's right! I am the Mu Clan's Clan Leader, Mu Gazi!"

"Mmh… Peak Calamity Enduring Realm…"

"You are quite weak for the quality of your courage!"

Still filled with unrestrained anger, Mu Gazi was however not a fool.

"Mister here… must be someone… important…" Having difficulties talking due to his gritted teeth and pained heart, he waited for an answer, his eyes teary.

The massacre costed the life of his concubines and children.

"Me? You can call me Elder Rong."

Widening his eyes, Mu Gazi closed them even tighter soon after.

"Guh… Argh! Sir! Rah!"

"Clan Leader!" Closing in on his side, a lower ranked member patted his back.

°Clan Leader, please be strong! Please help the clan overcome this calamity!°

°I know! I know already!°

°The problem is…°

°He killed my children! My wives!! My heart!!!°

°I understand Clan Leader! We all do! But we too have lost so many people to him! We wish for nothing but vengeance… But clearly, this man is of great status… if the clan is in danger… please put the clan first!°

A faint discussion over with, Mu Gazi wiped his tears.

'I have spent so many eras building my life… and now a single wave causes everything to stumble. Heinous!'

"Your Excellency! I did not know of your arrival, please forgive our inhospitality!"

Recognized as an elder of the Lured Cloud Sect, Azvon's identity soared far beyond the Mu Clan's descendants.

"Nothing but boot licking… The Mu Clan never ceases to disappoint."

'You… fucking…' Grumbling, Mu Gazi kept his true thoughts to himself.

"I am sorry if this has been the case! Please be magnanimous!"

His face falling, Azvon smiled sinisterly.

"Sorry but… this old man has come here for retribution!"

"What?! Who offen-" A ripple of space converging on Mu Gazi's head, his skull exploded from a shockwave. The space around his body cracked, a portal forming before exploding as well.

The entire group of the Mu Clan blown to pieces, Azvon turned his head around.

Following his movement, Alexander noticed a powerful eruption of energy near them.

'This isn't a weak one…'

Dark red flames covered the horizon while a pink and purple aura soared high above. This caused the surrounding beings to feel the doomsday to be near.

'This oppression… Is he on par with me?'

Still hidden, Alexander suddenly moved, dodging a flaming spear out of nowhere.

His body fading back in, he heard a rough voice speak in wrath.

"I wondered who would dare slaughter my people..!"

A red skinned man wearing a beautifully crafted set of armor appearing, he stretched his arm, retrieving an exquisite spear covered in dark red flames.

His body also drowned in them, his glimmering lime eyes analyzed the surroundings.

Long dark green strands of hair fluttering with a gigantic pillar of might, the Saint of Chaos made himself known.

"As I see it, I and my clan were underestimated! One little thing at the Heaven Surpassing Realm's peak, and one troublesome guy…"

"…half a step into the Dream Dominion Realm."
