163] – [Hasty]

Left testing his newly altered technique, Alexander smiled to himself.

'Finally… it took a whole year and a half! So long! It felt like I blinked once! Almost!'

Pleasantly joking in his mind, Alexander retrieved a giant underground army of clones.

'So many suicide bombers! Just one of these could kill a Calamity Enduring Realm expert in a heartbeat!' Alexander had collected an army of clones back, amounting to around ten thousand. Out of these, twenty percent were meant for self-destruction.

Strength wise, ten percent were at the Heaven Surpassing Realm, all in the bigger group only using the more safe version of [Wrath State], while another ten percent were in the Law Immortal Realm. The eighty percent left were all in the Calamity Enduring Realm.

'If only I had a clone launcher or something. Could've been quite funny to see in action… What a pity!' Clicking his tongue leisurely, he left the mess he made beneath the earth.

Obviously, Azvon was not there yet. Less than two years would seem like a moment for them both. Azvon was occupied.

But strangely, he did not care at all. Mainly because Alexander noticed a group of three walking into the distance.

'Mmh… maybe not… I wouldn't send a clone just to…'

'Actually…'

Pursing his lips, he grabbed a clone from his internal world.

'I'm still a bit curious… But I also want to see something wild…' Exchanging a glance with the clone, Alexander saw it smile kindly with a heavy nod.

"Really?"

"You understand… never mind, you're a clone." Sighing with hidden anticipation, Alexander grabbed the clone by the collar.

"Well then, here you go~!" Throwing it toward the group in the distance, two men and one woman at the Universe Realm, he saw the clone reach them in a matter of seconds.

Then…

A loud explosion resounded, a bright light veiling the view of the surroundings.

"Waw. Not strong at all… but quite entertaining… I should make more clone bombs in the future."

.

.

.

Years passing by, Azvon was still in seclusion. Waiting, Alexander, who was now resting on a rock, flinched.

"…"

Gazing up, far to his left, amidst the darkening sky, he caught a lonely figure.

'Well… Should I really be surprised?'

"Young man. Choose."

"Surrender or-"

"How about you shut up?"

"…" The figure clearly irritated, it spoke with even more confidence. A feminine voice warming the hearts and smothering the ears. Yet, it also contained a glacial tone.

"So you chose death… Very well!"

Frowning a bit, Alexander was a bit annoyed. However, he could not hide his anticipation. He was quite itchy for a fight actually. Mu Ryl was strong, but this person was only around his level. If he could defy Mu Ryl so well, then this lady would be unable to oppress him.

"I chose my path, not death. As for you…" Catching a fist with his left hand, Alexander stood up, glaring down on a pair of fiery eyes.

"…made a mistake. One I will welcome today!"

Smirking, Alexander let go of the fist, a flicker of a bright flame crackling.

"Your Fire Dao is amazing. But the Fire Dao is just that. A shitty Dao for mediocre people. Even if you can reach the apex of this Dao, it won't compare in an actual fight. Go back to making some artifacts like those other fire users." Igniting a raging flame, Alexander's words triggered innate wrath inside a petite woman.

"Infuriating! Young man, be careful with your words! This saintess will chop you in a thousand pieces!"

"Go ahead then! I'm right here!" Gesturing for a blow, Alexander narrowed his eyes at the sight. A towering titan of flames suddenly erupted, her flaming body trying to slap him apart.

"So this is how you want to play…" His heart beating faster, a surge of darkness pumped throughout his veins. A radiance of silver converging in his core, tendrils began to form from it.

Darkness and silver, as if liquids, quickly reached his head. The tendrils near his third eye glowing, said eye opened wide.

"Purge of the heart, severed ties of the mind. Lack of reality, confused understanding. A dream impossible to escape." A strange array of lights shaping itself right in front of his third eye, it crackled with silver lights, fumes of darkness spreading like the plague.

"[Nullity]."

The array glowing even brighter, the titan of flames simply vanished, fading away as if the winds gently blew it apart.

"With a move so slow, this Alexander won't wait. And the longer you saints keep waiting, the greater my ascend will be." Each passing moment, a new set of understanding creeped into his mind. And just this new powerful technique alone was still nothing but the beginning.

As the river of time flowed, his Dao of Supremacy would grow. Because of this, his heart would crumble faster, therefore increasing his Dao of Despair along many others.

Combining the two somewhat polar opposites into one, he birthed new horizons only he could fathom. As this convergence was unique to each.

"But still, I wonder why you came here? This Alexander only killed a little Saint of Chaos. What does it have anything to do with you? I honestly doubt the Saint Hall to be a peaceful place."

Deeply furrowing her brows, the powerful youth spoke.

"Whether you are correct or not is irrelevant. Strength is what matters. And because you killed Mu Ryl, I, Saintess of Fire Xania Yrtom, must avenge him and reestablish the Saint Hall's reputation. Which means…"

"That I have to die? Alright then, why not try and kill me now?"

'Why do I feel something to be-' Not allowed to think further, Xania turned around in shock. Her eyes filled with beautiful flames dimmed in horror.

Behind her turned head, Alexander was smiling kindly.

"Fool."

"Indeed she is!" Laughing like a madman, Azvon was already in range, his clawing hand of silver madly rushing at her back from above.

"[Silver Hand]!"

"[Volcanic Shield]!"

A bright orange screen of light forming, it instantly clashed with a hand coated in silver metal. The shield broke in an instant, while its destruction also caused a burst to echo. It was as if a volcanic eruption had appeared, engulfing both of them.

Soon however, dry coughs could be heard.

"You alright brother?" His voice gentle, as if it was evident, Alexander's ears caught onto an old man's rough voice.

"Of course! Cough! This little girl sure is more gutsy than you!"

"Tsk! Keep your remarks to yourself." Hands clasped behind his back, Alexander ignored a smoky figure nearby. She coughed as well, her now bruised back exposed. As for Azvon, his clothes did not even receive anything besides a burnt patch on his chest and sleeve.

'This is bad!' Sweating, Xania knew herself to be in a predicament. Just Azvon's sneak attack was enough to force her hand, and he was weaker than her! As for Alexander, his aura alone showed him to be nearing her level as well.

'Even though I am a newly promoted Dream Dominion Realm expert… I can't fight two people at the Heaven Surpassing Realm's peak at the same time!'

The difference in strength between someone half a step into a major realm and someone barely inside it was practically non-existent. And the comparison with someone at the peak of a major realm just below, it was almost the same.

Therefore, saying that Xania was in a brutal two versus one was not inaccurate. Even Mu Ryl struggled and died when against them when already a few steps into the first stage.

But she still came here. And so not alone.

"Big sis! Help! Little Xania is getting bullied!"

Following her half baked screams, a middle aged woman dressed in purple robes, the same as her hair, gracefully stepped into the fight. But she did not appear from the sky, nor some forest or mountain.

Her gentle hand abruptly came from underground.

'Hey, hey! What kind of weird appearance is that?' A twitching eye was not the end when Alexander saw the earth part ways.

An army of skeletons dressed chaotically stepped upon the ground as well.

Her abyssal eyes seemed playful.

"Ho ho ho! Little Xania, didn't big sis tell you to stop running around?" Xania jumping into her chest, she nudged herself like a purring cat. Patting her head was a worried sister.

"And who are you now?" Scratching his head, Alexander was looking around in apprehension. Would there be more? Even his Divine Sense could not find her. In fact, it was almost useless against Xania even.

"Me? Ho~ Little brother here is quite mean, not even knowing who I am!"

Glancing at Azvon, he only saw him shrug with a blank look.

"Am I supposed to know you?"

Her answer was surprisingly…

"No."

This only caused his eye to twitch even more ferociously.

"I see…"

"But now you know, I am Estia Manalur, Saintess of the Undead. You call me big sis though…"

"No thank you. After all, I don't want to call a fresh corpse this way!"

Two men fading away, they reappeared on both sides of Estia, still hugging Xania.

"So fast~" Smiling with her eyes as well, she waved her arm, a few bone spears stabbing from underground.

"What the hell?" Stepping back mid-air, Alexander and Azvon had to twist in a heartbeat, other spears of bones thrown at them from all sides.

"Damn slaves!" The culprits were some of the skeleton army. Paying more attention, one would notice the weakest of this army to still be at the Law Immortal Realm. The strongest being a robust skeleton at the Heaven Surpassing Realm brandishing a giant axe with one hand.

'Wait… Dao of the Undead… skeletons… Don't tell me!' Sweating profusely, Alexander retreated even more, catching a mental breath.

'Would she be able to control Primordial Human remains? I didn't find any in the Core Territory, but that doesn't mean they can't be brought from elsewhere!'

"Oh! And by the way little brother, I don't think your choice of words was accurate." Covering her mouth as she laughed, Estia's body squirmed.

"I am not a fresh corpse, but a very old one." This made them frown.

°Do you know what she is talking about?° Alexander was the first to ask.

°Do I look like I know?! Just don't mind it. If the other saints come here…°

Smirking with clear arrogance, Alexander did not seem worried.

°Don't worry about that. If necessary, I can just sacrifice my vessel and go past my limits.°

°Are you talking about that wrath something technique? Isn't that dangerous?°

°It is, but so what? If they want a fight, I don't mind giving them a tough bone to chew! I'm not scared of some lowly Saint Hall!°

"What are you two whispering about? Mmh~?" Her remark quite heavy, the strongest skeleton flickered, reappearing in front of Alexander, its giant axe cleaving down.

"Can't you respect our conversation? Do you think a tall skeleton with some sharp blade is capable of killing us? Bad tactical move for a leader…" As he finished speaking, the giant skeleton was already in smithereens, its remnant bone dust leaving along the wind.

"But if it's war you want, I'll give it to you free of charge!"
