165] – [True Sage]
A body frozen in place from sheer terror and apprehension, Ahrgan felt the pressure to be on a constant rise.
Ahrgan was one of the strongest saints in the Saint Hall, his real cultivation base laying at the Dream Dominion Realm's second stage. If he truly desired, entering the Sealed Gate would have been a piece of cake.
After all, in Limbo, one would be considered a sage just by stepping into the Dream Dominion Realm. Someone a few steps into the second stage would be welcomed with open arms.
But even he faced a calamity.
Being around halfway done with the second stage, Ahrgan had a raw battle prowess of around eight million Origin Power.
Alexander was barely on the five million mark. But now…
"Why are you looking so gloomy? Mmh?! This Alexander is only greeting you properly, why are you pissing your pants already!?"
Lesser Wrath State. The newly developed form Alexander found from the original one. It lacked a violent backlash while still boosting one's strength past the limits.
"Why are you so scared?!!" His red skin and bulging veins did not give him a look of peacefulness. And neither did his current aura.
A large pillar of rampaging red Origin Energy exploded, shaking the robust mountains even from afar. A profound Dao of Wrath warping the senses of all creatures.
'…' Drops of cold sweat dripping down his ashen face, Ahrgan knew what this oppression meant. As a saint, he of course met some sages from the Sealed Gate. Some new sages weaker than the true him, while others much stronger.
Therefore, he knew what this powerful aura indicated.
Averaging fifteen million Origin Power of pure might, Alexander would theoretically be considered a peak Dream Dominion Realm sage at the very least.
Maybe…
Maybe a few more droplets of strength would even threaten those beyond.
He had seen the clones fight from afar. He realized them to have been using an even more violent and dangerous version.
This made him shudder at the thought.
What if Alexander used this one instead?
In this case… would those legendary Cave Masters even have a chance? He was not sure… he did not know enough.
But one thing was for certain…
He was not in a good spot.
"I think we can talk thi-" A red fist smashing into his face, causing his brain to come out the other side in paste, Ahrgan's body was sent flying across the horizon.
"We won't talk. Even without the abilities of the Dream Dominion Realm… I can still beat the shit out of you all! Against absolute strength, resistance is futile!"
A pair of bloodshot eyes scanned the surroundings. And soon, his body simply disappeared.
"?!" Vomiting his organs, Ghnol Deltom shivered. Even as the Saint of Death, he could not understand how he got hit. He did not even know when it happened.
Was this the difference between a mere saint and a sage?
Disappearing again, Alexander butchered each saint without mercy. A lich's bones broken, a Saintess of Life's heart gouged out. A foot smashing a Saint of Light's face into mush, a cleaving hand decapitating a Saint of the World, a fist crushing the sternum of a Saintess of Doom.
Only a few moments felt like an eternity in fear.
And just when they could not hold it anymore, Alexander came to a halt. He retreated, dodging a gust of sharp wind.

"…" Frowning, Alexander saw three people advance.
An old woman, an old man and a very, very old man.
All had long grey hair, the one in the middle, the most aged one, with purple eyes like the stars. This giant old cultivator was seen with a casual smile, showing teeth bigger than small fists and a sharp yet short beard slightly fluttering as he approached.
Alexander could not help noticing the similarities of his eyes with Lu Shu.
'You've got to be kidding me…'
The most problematic of all was not background. It was the difference in a certain type of status.
Alexander was not even in the Dream Dominion Realm, and the three in front of him emanated a profoundness he never experienced before.
"Hahaha! Little Saint Lu greets the Void Family Ancestor!"
A frosty glare judging Lu Shu, the decrepit yet burly titan of a man dryly smiled. His cracked skin and countless wrinkles were moving strangely. His hollow and sunken yet glowing eyes seemingly happy.
"Oh! How big you have become little saint! This old man is pleased! Less than a quadrillion years old, yet already at the Dream Dominion Realm's peak! Don't disappoint this old man with your future achievements! My Void Family truly is a den of titans amongst men!"
These casual words were heard by all.
But each one of them caused even Alexander to tremble. His mind felt sore just from the ripples of power the old man gave off.
"So, little saint. Why have you called me here today? I may be dotting on you, but please be mindful of status! As a Cave Master, I have things to do!"
"Ancestor, you can't lie to me! As your great great great grandson, I am not without knowledge! All you do is cultivate all day long. This Lu is saddened by your lack of affection for your descendants!"
"This…" Completely ignoring the crowd all around them, the two were engaged in a truly heartfelt conversation.
"When was the last time I heard you talk about your stories? This little one is missing them dearly… I always crave for knowledge about the outside world!"
"Ho ho! The little saint is quite mischievous! Did you call this old man here just for this? But fine. You see, when I was your age, I was travelling across the Realms in search of a Three Daos Dragon Fruit! Because of it, I went and…"
Scratching his cheek, Lu Shu seemed nonchalant about the whole ordeal. Muttering to himself.
"It has started… the ancestor just can't stop telling me the same one."
A glint in the old man's eyes, he stopped his story.
"Well, truth be told-" Interrupting him were Lu Shu's casual words.
"I know, I know! You told me this ten times already! Just a few billions years later you got trapped in Limbo's creation…"
"Yes… well, if the Greater Primordial Deity wasn't so bold at the time… to have the entire Half-Supreme Continent be destroyed… Though it was bound to happen anyway. With a name like this…"
'What do I do?' Stealthily waiting, Alexander was ignored by all. He did not mind being forgotten, but he was not done killing people yet.
The problem was… even with his current strength tripled, he could not see a way to win against any of the three new people. The strongest was also referred to as a Cave Master. He did not know what it was, but this title must be quite grand. At least it sounded as such judging by the expressions of the saints below.
And just when he began to form a coherent plan, the old woman next to the ancestor moved. As if teleportation, her raw speed was enough to overwhelm him.
'Fuck!' Gritting his teeth, he crossed his arms, enduring a sudden blow. Sent flying like a ragdoll toward the ground, he crashed onto a nearby mountain.
Said mountain collapsed, reduced to dust.
"Mmh? Little Su?"
Called out, she cupped her fists and bowed.
"Ancestor, this brat was acting suspiciously."
Remembering the situation, Lu Shu raised his hand.
"Ah! Actually, this is why I called you here. This man was using strange techniques to boost his strength. Honestly, if I were to push him too much, who knows how I would end up. Therefore, I preferred playing it safe. I know that this is presumptuous and quite cowardly, but I would largely prefer bringing a little shame to the family rather than downright spitting on it with an untimely death."
"…" Stroking his short beard, the giant decrepit old man of bulging muscles nodded solemnly.
"It's fine. I commend you on your character. Knowing one's limits is very important after all. Little Jing, kill him."
"Yes, Ancestor!" About to reach Alexander with extreme speeds akin to teleportation, Elder Jing of the Void Family was seen returning. Except, he did not intend to do so.
He was forcefully sent flying across the sky.
This attracted the attention of all present. Down to the ground, a mist of dust and powdered stones cleared up.
A red pillar the size of mountains erupted like a volcano. It brought down the clouds and crushed the earth beneath. Shockwaves of the Wrath Dao enough to upset the calm minds of all tarnished saints.
"[Quasi Wrath State]!"
A fifteen million Origin Power might surging higher, it stopped around twenty-five million.
"Ho~?" Amused, the ancestor looked on with a slight smile. As for the other two old monsters, they only frowned, the other elder clearly uninjured from the earlier blow.
"This old man is very impressed! Young man, you are truly an anomaly! Still in the Heaven Surpassing Realm, yet you can explode with a raw might comparable to the Eleutherian Realm's second stage! What a young monster of a man!"
"But…" Casually raising his right arm, the ancestor easily caught Alexander's teleporting fist. His smile having never left his face, a small Alexander was faced with a giant more than five times his height. An old man with forearms thicker than a his own head. A testimony to the rest of his body, unimaginable by many.
"Against a Cave Master such as myself… Someone who is at the peak of Limbo…"
"It might not be nearly enough to challenge me!" Making Alexander's even more berserk state fade, the old man threw him away like a piece of trash.
Stabilizing himself mid-air, Alexander did not feel good.
'How?! What kind of monster is this old man?!' Just a simple exchange showed the ancestor to be much stronger than he currently was.
"Are you able to tell? Even if you can roughly compare to the second stage, I am already deep into the fifth!"
"Logically speaking, even as you currently are, I am two times as strong! And that is without taking my abilities into consideration!"
"…"
There was no point in struggling for no reason. Alexander could even tell his current self to be weaker than the two elders besides the oldest one.
"Alright… since it has come to this…"
Since he could not escape… since he could not win like this…
Since it was still not enough…
Then he would give them enough!
Even if he needed to sacrifice both body and soul!
"[Wrath State]!!"
