Announcement

Greetings, readers of Mortal's Fate. I appreciate everyone who has been reading this story of mine for the past months. This has been the first ever novel that I've ever written, so I expected poor results. It went better than I expected, so that is quite something. Now, 1700 pages later and 3 full volumes, I decided to take proper action. The kind that is something a lot of RR authors do, and I feel I need it a lot.

That is a complete systematic rewrite of the novel and not some measly rewrites in the midst of publishing new chapters.

What does it mean for this novel, or for you, the readers?

I will be halting this version of the story completely. No new chapters will appear, and in the following months, I will be relaunching Mortal's Fate under another name, or something similar. I've still yet to decide on that.

Thus, if anyone is interested in following this story further, feel free to comment, or Dm me of becoming a beta reader. I have some significant changes planned for this story, which I think was good for my first novel, but now, a year later, I view it differently. I want this novel to be better than the bare notion of being good to myself.

Few things I plan to change.

The flow of storytelling, and some pacing.

cultivating and body forging

some worldbuilding elements

What I don't plan to change? The core story of Allan's 1st volume and things surrounding 36, Sarey, and Zigmund later on. I like the story in the first 30 chapters, so after some retouching, it should be better. There were definitely a lot of chapters later on – recent ones, being the Trial of the 400 Orbs, that I don't plan to change all that much. Also, Allan finally got to the Sparkling stage, so that may be a start for proper cultivating, right? I would say so since the story of the 4th volume is already steady in my mind.

So, since I am halting it, what would you expect for the 4th? Start of the cultivation, Martial Arts, and many other things. Things around Zigmund and the Tricloud Alliance would also become more apparent, and the war would reach the Tricloud region as well. The ploy of the Underground auction would also become an interesting point in the story, and I planned for Allan to recover his eyesight in this volume as well. That is the general gist of it, while many things would follow.

Though I fear not now, when I want to improve this story in a different way than continuously publishing something that I think is good enough, but it could be so much better.

Hence, that's why I am stopping publishing Mortal's Fate. In the following months, I will be making an announcement in another chapter and how it will go.

Thanks for reading, and see you soon.
