Prologue

The universe was always known to be endless, filled with countless stars, planets, and other celestial objects.

There was once a legacy of The Maker, the one who made everything and caused everything to appear under the heaven. Such an ordeal, spanning uncountable years, with countless death, and lives, represented a chaotic, yet orderly place.

Although, that was an untold story of the past, as The Maker was no longer present, or known at the present time. It wasn't a time, nor a being that was noticed by in the current universe. Some could only get close to that, yet it was always far away, reaching realms beyond their wildest possibilities. It was something that had been missing for a long time, making the mystery of the universe, quite unique.

Few beings of tremendous power knew about that one. His order, history, and the meaning that caused the Universe to even exist.

As for them, it meant nothing to ordinary people outside of their morality, or even care. Those were the mortals, whose lives were like a speck of dust in a vast cosmos. No, that was perhaps even less than that.

The ordinary within the mysterious will eventually give birth to grief, pain, love, and betrayal. Maybe it had many more emotions that go into the hearts of men, as humans had always been quite emotional.

Unbeknown to any living, be it the figures shrouded in the illusions of the cosmos or the gardener whose flowers make mortals happy, a danger to all will become clearer and sweep the cosmos.

It is coming.

A great tide, and shift in this constant flow of time.

The 4th aged planet of Prime Eldenrius. It was the place, of a maker and ruler figure of the 4589th planetary constellation in the Central Region of the universe, Prime Eldenrius. This planet rotated around the massive sun a few million kilometers away from it. It was known as a magnificent planet of vast density and mass, making it a home for billions of lives. It was a prime planet in any shape or form in the Central Region of the universe.

Humongous spiked mountains surrounded the city named after his son, the City of Eldenbright. They seemed like the protruding claws of gargantuan giants, surrounding the city's perimeter. It was a dozen, if not a hundred kilometers tall mountain range, with strange shapes and sizes, that towered over the city.

It almost seemed as if the mountains wanted to clutch the already humongous city of hundreds of kilometers within it.

Known as a major capital of schools and sects alike, it was a city of many opportunities and riches. Many considered it a rich place in the shape of Immortal lands. The kind, which was known by mortal tales or legends. Though not that much, as the legends in the mind of mortals depended on the planet or the region.

There, in the city of Eldenbright, a man was hurrying toward a cathedral at the edges of this city. He was wearing a light red robe with a bright sheen of red scales around his chest, neck, and arms. It was an external armor treasure, but it was lacking something, because in his arms was an extraordinary-looking scroll with gold around its outlines. Huffing and sweating, he arrived at the back door of the building. Guarding it was 2 pairs of well-built soldiers with spears by their sides.

Guards immediately went alert by a sudden intruder and voiced their presence by energy shout and change of stance.

“What are you doing here? This is private property!” Shouted one guard with an utter strength that shook the air. The rest of the colleagues raised their spears and awaited the response of this man.

Man unbothered by such treatment raised his hand and showed the scroll to the guards.

“Back off if you don't want to die!” He tells in a deadly voice.

“T-t-that's? How do you have this?” said the leading guard in shock, while other guards immediately fell to their knees.

“We greet the prime escort of Emblem.” Scared shit-less, the one who spoke first fell to the ground. He was clearly confused and scared by this sudden development.

The man wasn't one bit bothered by them. He shoved them aside before entering the hall of the cathedral.

“He is but an ordinary soldier? How come he has that?” Voiced the leader of these guards. He couldn't wrap his head around this situation that only occurred in a few moments.

“He is sweating quite profusely. I wonder if he has a bad physique or is scared shit-less by something.” Said the rookie-looking guard in silence, while the rest are stupefied by his words.

“It is your bad luck, newcomer. For not knowing who is beside these doors.” Added the leader to the rookie.

Inside the barren, and old-looking cathedral.

There was an old man dressed in a black robe, his face shrouded behind the hood, making his thoughts or face unknown as his intentions. He already spent the last 5 hours here, since he wanted to. Before him were many paintings depicting warfare elements of marvels and immortal intentions. All of them were beautiful to see and terrifying to experience by any standard.

He was there to ponder and marvel about this, while only his own reason for it was known by him alone. These scenes were precious to him on a fundamental level, making him appreciate the extraordinariness within these pictures. He knew them from experience because he was the one who painted them a few millennia ago, or how long ago that was.

“What happened for you to be in such a state, captain of a 10th round of Scarlet division Bai Zedong? Why are you even dressed in such attire of a lower soldier?” Asked the old man in a shrill voice as a figure of the man from before entered the main hallway of the cathedral.

“End is nearing, patriarch Jackal.” Answered Bai Zedong as he walked in hurry forward. He was still breathless and sweat long poured around his face and skin.

“Which ending?” Asked patriarch Jackal in an amusing fashion, standing and remaining in place. He wasn't looking or changing the direction of his shrouded face since what was before him was more important.

Bai Zedong reached a few meters before the man. Such a question quite surprised him, so he tossed the scroll to the ground before him. As he did so, the scroll opened a little, depicting thousands of swords of all shapes. Almost every inch of the scroll was a sword apart from the middle. There was a bright figure of unknown gender which appeared like a god of light and swords. This was an emblem depicting the highest order of military power of the city's council. A depiction of the Prime Eldenrius and his direct order.

It wasn't just for show, of course. The City of Eldenbright is synonymous with hegemony over the few other planetary constellations. Be it within the reaches of this planetary constellation, or outside of it, it was the strongest force over countless distances. As for this city in itself, it had one kind of history, on this enormous planet. After all, this used to be a place where Prime Eldenrius used to spend time with his family and a place where he underwent the reaches of a Lord of the 7th step.

Seeing, nor hearing no response from him, Bai Zedong continued instead. “It is the worst ending, of course. One that I didn't want to imagine. I was with the fleet from the second Power. It was an ordinary check of the perimeter of the constellation borders until everything changed… for the worst nightmare.”

“And? What are you getting into? Is it that bad for you to barge into my little place and cause havoc with this screwed piece of a scroll?” Patriarch Jackel asked while the scroll floated to his hand on its own, wrapping itself close, as the scroll itself was a token in itself.

Upon doing so, this mysterious old man named Jackal faced Bai Zedong and took off his cloak over his head. He was an older gentleman with an aged face, which still radiated an extreme gaze of power. His short brown hair and beard still left some leftover youth, which made him look younger than he was.

“I am sorry, patriarch. I am simply scared of what is coming.” Bai Zedong shuddered in fear and fell to his knees before the gaze and pressure of this figure. He was being disrespectful, even before the death itself.

“Is it that scary to fear death? Knowing the orders of Scarlet, you should be more than brave towards it.” Jackal said with a hint of seriousness as if he knew what Bai Zedong was feeling.

“I-i-I have served dozens of m-m-millennia p-patriarch Jackal.” Cried Bai Zedong with a mixture of tears and sweat on his face. Kneeling, he appeared quite apprehensive, and fearful of something that happened or will happen.

“Fine. Report it. Report what you were tasked with so I can see what I can do over our promise. How could you just come here without telling me that? That's quite rude.” Jackal said with a mocking smile.

He wasn't mocking the bravery of Bai Zedong, but the lack of it. He used to be in the service of the military on such a scale, so he knew it was very easy to die. On the other hand, he also knew the general power of this Bai Zedong, so Patriarch Jackal wondered what happened to him to be such a scared mouse.

Bai Zedong knew the truth, but he wasn't willing to die for nothing, albeit he knew he was long a dead man. He clenched his last fibers of bravery in a reminder of his career and his… new purpose?

“I-i-I had seen the Dark Death,” he said with his eyes facing the ground so he didn't have to seek the eyes of the man before him.

“Where?”

“Perimeter of Prime Eldenrius territory. It will be here soon.”

“Have you seen it by yourself?”

“Yes.”

“I see. Anything else?”

Bai Zedong started mumbling. “I have met him. That one? It… he was just like Prime Eldenrius, but stronger, sharper. He was a man of tremendous power. ‟He‟ is no longer human and asked about "his" status. I did not know the answer, obviously. Prime Eldenrius is getting old and is no longer a threat to some ambiguous figures. More and more people will risk their lives by going against him, hoping to embark on the Lord's realms.” Bai Zedong said and stopped speaking after these last words.

His whole body began to convulse as he was on his knees. Sweat and tears were no longer on his face. Instead, the steam and heat spread from his skin in rapid fashion. He was shaking and trembling and even his body and armor started to melt a little.

“Everyone will die, p-patriarch.” Bai Zedong added in his last moments.

As everything was happening, patriarch Jackal watched with a calm expression. “So he wants him for his path? I don't even know where he went. It has been millennia since the last appearance of this ruler. Very well. I appreciate the message out of our respect. Rest in peace Bai Zedong”

BOOM!

Bai Zedong's body exploded within, submerging the cathedral and even its suroudnigns with high-energy impact. The energy was compacted to the maximum as the explosion aimed at the person closest to it, but the surroundings suffered much more. The whole cathedral collapsed, and even the fate of the guards outside was unknown. Their death could only mean a drop into the dust of the ending lives, so it didn't matter.

Moments later, as the dust, flames, and energy undulation calmed down.

Standing there amidst the ruin of the cathedral, patriarch Jackal, still with his frowning yet indifferent expression, stayed in the same spot.

He was unhurt, but a visible twisted sneer on his mouth revealed a lot of emotion if one was familiar with him.

Behind him, the wall with all of his war paintings was still intact. That was his intention, so it did not escape the eyes of this old man. He sighed with a last glance at his painting before disappearing into the bright, colorful light of this half-destroyed place. He disappeared inwards as if a black hole sucked him inwards.

In another part of the vast city.

There were vast and majestic headquarters of the Alliance of Schools and Sects, for dozens of square kilometers. This was a place that was surrounded by defenses and influential individuals of incredible cultivation realms.

Old man Jackal appeared in one hall that was right around the part he had to visit. He appeared with a blink, making his appearance as bothered as his view of the expensive, and luxurious surroundings inside of this trading headquarters. Regardless of how impressive the exterior was, he did not need to marvel at such ordinary things in his eyes. His teleport to this place caused a sudden outcry and scared a few personnel, who were attending to guests and other important people.

“W-w-what are you doing here all of a sudden, old man? Where do you think you are?” said one of the female personnel attending to rich-looking guests.

This was one of the main halls of the trading and business center. It was one of the many halls which were part of the trading hub for countless immortal techniques, and materials. Many important people were present at any point in time. As for the outcry of this woman, the rules of trade prohibited any teleportation, flying, and fighting. They were no exceptions whatsoever, even for the Prime Eldenrius.

Old man Jackal slowly took out the rolled scroll from his sleeve, but only halfway. The attendant glanced at him and saw the knot by the side of the scroll. Even the knob was filled with sword symbols of quite an art. She froze for a moment upon discovering what it was. She immediately understood that someone important was before her.

No! the scroll was more important than the person before her.

“Please be on your way, sir,” she spoke in a sorry state and an apologetic bow.

Old man Jackal sneered and went to the floors above through the stairs hoping to reach and think of a plan in his mind. Like his previous old demeanor, he appeared fast and collected. He entered one of the rooms after finding the right personal and private floor. It was the reason for his visit and a place where he felt the presence of leaders of the few sects.

Opening the gate, he saw multiple people who were wearing luxurious robes. Their aura and gaze were of incredible power. They sat around the table enjoying some herbal tea and talking among themselves. Laughing, frowning, joking, it was clear friendship, making them very familiar with each other.

Alas, as they did so for a long time, they spotted a new presence of someone. It was a threat to someone much stronger than them all.

It was an approaching figure of a stern old man like themselves, but it wasn't about appearance. They felt a deep sight of power, that went beyond theirs. Another shock was the scroll in the person's hands. All of them were stunned and speechless.

Old man Jackal approached their table and tossed the scroll and said. “Order of Maximum. All powers of the Alliance are to attend within 5 minutes or their standing will suffer 2 degrees. No differences”

One elder on a chair looked in shock down, observing the scroll, but didn't dare to touch it. With a thick long beard and bald head, he appeared older than Jackal himself, even though he was younger. He remembered that Order of Maxim and also the old man before him.

With some hesitation, he took the scroll to see if it was real. “Maxim…. You must be Elder Jackal of Old? I assume? I will do as you wish. The rest of you inform minor alliances and attend towards the Maxim to the best of your abilities.” The old man gestured and ordered everyone on his table. Their laughter long disappeared, as if a disaster struck their minds.

“Let's the last stand begone. Shall we?” Old man Jackal thought to himself, while certain creeping feelings of pain and helplessness overlapped his mind. He was not ready for what was about to happen but this was the last thing he could do.

No one was ready for what was about to come.

As the place on this planet underwent a current of disaster, in deep space long beyond the commotion and fear.

Those were the edges of the Eldenrius territory, which were quite a long way from the location of the 4th planet of Prime Eldenrius.

This was a blank region, with almost no essential value. There was no life, so no materials, planets, or stars were for anyone's taking. Yet, there was something new and uncommon for such an area of empty space.

An enormous ship of metallic color and sharp shape was floating in this space. The deep dark-black color o its body made one feel endless darkness. It was around 15 km in length, with a shape like a tip of a military bowhead and a gem with a hexagonal shape at the end. It had a sharp tip, which went from each shape of the hexagon from the back. Surrounding it were massive chunks of debris and rocks scattered across vast areas.

This was a Dark Death.

Within the ship's interiors, in a hall of almost 30 meters in height and hundreds of meters far and wide. There sat a man in the middle of everything. He was surrounded by an army of thousands of armored soldiers in red and dark scaled armor and sharp weapons of all kinds littered the ground as well as their hands. Not even including the many auras and pressure in this place, this could be called a butchering legion of utmost quality in the immortal lands.

As for the man in the middle of them all, he wasn't afraid of them. After all, he was their leader and the owner. Their existence was for him and only. He was a current master and owner of Dark Death, a ship that fed upon the souls and energy of hundreds of planets during its old existence.

This man was known as Dark Lunatic – Kong Reian.

He was a man of many twisted convictions. It was the case of a man, who was part of many greedy and twisted people of the current era, and perhaps even the older, more distant eras. People like him were mostly called by their dark arts and techniques, making their name quite familiar from their aura or moves alone. The lack of principles of respect and order caused them to be known as evil immortals. Chaos was their surname, and their acts often depicted them as fanatical maniacs. That was at the very extreme side of the coin, but it was truthful, in a fundamental shape of the universe.

Kong Reian was wearing loose black robes, which revealed part of his very refined muscles around his chest. He wasn't burly by any means, but not thin, or weak at all. His arms were firm, yet hidden behind the robe. His clutch was hiding a dense and collected strength, hiding a tremendous power of flesh and perhaps something else as well. His equally dark long hair scattered across his back. It outlined his sharp brows, chin, and even his gaze, which was unyielding, serious, and filed with ambitions.

He was handsome to any standard of a woman, but he held an atrocious, sinister atmosphere around him. On his lap was a long curved great sword of almost 3 meters. How could a man of fewer than 2 meters wield such a great sword was questionable, to say the least.

Closest to him were 10 bloody figures in scaled armor with dark red and tattered cloaks. Some of them had different body types than others. Some were as tall as a normal mortal, while the biggest was 4 meters tall giant. All of them wore masks with ornaments that depicted skulls and beast materials, such as bones, scales, and skin. Though, the main thing one would see underneath the cloak were scaled armor pieces that would protect their bodies.

One of the 10 figures stomped forward, kneeling in front of his master and commander, Kong Heian. He was the biggest and sturdiest man in a shrouded cloak who spoke in his powerful, zealous voice.

“Master, It has been nearly 20 hours since your message left. All ships, according to your orders were cared for or taken in. What must be the next steps?”

Kong Reian left his gaze from his blade, glancing in front of himself. Looking at his man, he told. “Forward and reach the city of Eldenbright as soon as possible. Also, prepare for the war to reach this crucial step. That is all for now.”

As he told, he got on his feet in a single motion, while grabbing the sword into his right hand, and carrying it as if it was a feather. Resting it on top of his shoulder, the sword didn't bother him at all as he went out of the room to leave for a better waiting experience.

He didn't have to hear the uproar of his words that shook the air and ears alike. His men were quite a noisy lot, and upon reaching the war, they cheered wildly behind his back.

One of the bloody figures followed behind him. This one was one of the smallest of the 10. Lean legs and a clear, slender body within the crimson cloak, revealed an obvious gender. It was a woman with the masked features of a demon, with twisted eyes, and a smile filled with sharp teeth.

“Master!?” She called when they left the hall. It sounded both, with a question in her tone and a hint of anticipation of something.

“Don't bother me for now.” Kong Heian barked at her with a cold smile on his face. “This will be worth the celebration. After all, this will be the 9th one, won't it be, Xua?” he asked in a good mood as the figure wore her mask with quite confidence. She won't disagree with the negative order, as this man is her master, for now.

“Right. Right? 9th? It will be worth everything, of course. Do you have anything in mind? A plan to shackle the Eldenbright and its vast history? I am looking forward to such ideas.” She giggled and shared her master's good mood, but as she did so, Kong Reian shoved her head aside since she was a bother. He rather walked toward the big gate, where the inside revealed quite mesmerizing views. Massive windows opened the cosmic scenery of the universe. Stars and anything that one would be able to perceive with eyesight were here.

This was one of the better rooms with the utmost sight of the scenes outside, with many pillows, and even a round bed in the middle of this massive window. A good sleep or some other fun stuff could happen here, leading to a good time.

“I hope everything will be fine. You know the effects of the 9th orb… It won't be easy.” Xua said in worry and hope, forgetting that Kong Reinan ignored her completely.

“Why should it be easy? I will make it all happen, so don't worry about anything. Once it is over, you know what that means for you and your people. Prepare the ritual, according to our contract. you know it. With it, I swear it will be as you wanted, and I will give you what we agreed on.” Kong Heian added and shoved her head into a particular pouch around his waist.

From there, he tossed her a thin-looking book. It was an old book, quite bigger than the pouch itself.

Xua exhaled and laugh with a clear… worked-up attitude. After a while of her laughter, she put her cloak half off and even her mask. Her pale skin, lips, crimson eye, and sharp teeth made it clear that she was not a human. There was even a hint of scales on her cheek and part of her neck.

“I will gladly do it according to your wishes.” She replied with an utterly enchanting half-smile and a small dose of disappointment. She left the room even though she wanted something more “lucrative“, but this will do for her.

Kong Heian glanced outside the window, watching the silence as the Dark Death cleaved through the space through his senses of the ship. This window faced the front of the ship, but it wasn't the main place for the running of this ship. He no longer needed to do this personally, nor did he need to be in immediate charge of anything. His man could move this ship according to his rules and no one would question it.

The Dark Death began to fluctuate in energy particles, coming off of the end of the hexagon. Like a blink, it disappeared from the rubble of the surrounding rocks, which changed to dust.

Its destination?

4th planet of Prime Eldenrius's constellation.

Back on the 4th planet of Prime Eldenrius, in the city of Eldenbright.

Old man Jackal was sitting by the window in a chair. Before him was a long stretch of a table with almost 100 seated figures. Those were beings of all kinds, yet all of them radiated unimaginable power in any shape or form. Though it didn't matter that much now, and Jackal knew it.

These 100 or so figures were of the biggest standing on this planet. They had power within the Alliance in addition to many Schools and Sects alike. Most were here with corresponding power and standing, but none were close to the power of the Jackal.

“Not everyone is here.” Old man Jackal thought as he looked from the front seat.

He looked at the first 10 people seated at the very front of the table. Those were the strongest, as well as most important people within this planet, and the Alliance as a whole. It included all the beings who were under Eldenrius's trust.

“As the orders of Maxim state, I will give you the rundown of the reasons for this. Each one of you will bring forward all their representative powers. Put away the differences and fight for the cause that is survival of your very own lives.” Old man Jackal told in a firm voice that echoed in this particular wide and big room in the headquarters.

“We will abdicate by the orders of Maxim, of course. As for your reasoning Patriarch Jackal. No one will complain.” Said the middle-aged man with a short beard and brown hair at the very front. He was the closest to the front seat, indicating his personal power over the Alliance was quite big.

“What about Emperor Prime Eldenrius? For such a commotion to happen without his presence. It will cause a disaster.” Asked another closest elder after him.

“Dark Death is approaching.”

100 figures looked at Jackal, who spoke as directly as he could. Some beings were even unsure if they heard him right. They knew the Maxim was a Maxim, yet the reasoning was not always important. Now, he dropped the topic down as if a world had fallen on their heads.

“I guess that is about right… What else would it be for the Maxim to start? Some Elders are not present. Do you wish to act as fast as we can?” added a middle-aged man with a calm face. He already guessed that much. That, or his informants already told him about the reason for the Maxim.

“I just wanted to scare some of you, since I am no Prime Eldenrius nor his follower. It's a price I had to pay, and it appears to be quite an expensive one. I assume there are some who already had their source of information about it, so it leaves me glad. Prepare for unexpected situations and raise defenses to the greatest level possible. Prime Eldenrius is not someone I could reach right now. so I hope some of you may have access to him. Somehow… Tell me.” Old man Jackal said as he glanced at every seated figure.

“I may have a way. His son is hiding within my Endless Sky Hall sect.” Answered one of the female elders in the back.

“You, Patrich Skyless? Fine, I wish to know the status of his father as fast as you can manage. Do it before doing anything else, since it has the highest degree of importance.” Ordered Jackal.

“I will do so, patriarch Jackal.” Patriarch Skyless bowed and took her to leave before doing anything else.

“There are few plans to make if it's that lunatic Reian. The chance to escape or reach out to greater powers within the Center of the universe is long gone.” Old man Jackal dropped another thing that was on his mind. A road to safety had been severed since there wasn't enough time for anything.

“T-this? How could he reach us when the great powers were restricting his movements? The Dark Death is monitored by all sorts of figures and organizations. This is utter madness for him to come here without running to certain forces and other constellations.“ Cried out one of the front Elders who was the most nervous of them all. His wrinkled face did not one bit cause his voice to sound old. No, he was very powerful as well.

Commotion instantly erupted as the fate of the immortals was leaving their insignificant lives. They knew what was against them so fear and hopelessness filled their heart. They paid not much attention to the words of patriarch Jackal who tried to calm them down. Fear stroked the minds of what were the immortals in the mortal's eyes, yet It was as if mere strands of their deaths scared them. They appeared like a chicken, encountering a fox or a wolf.

“At least try dying with honor.” Old man Jackal barked at them without hesitation, since his words no longer reached anyone.

The silence remained with each Elder having their voice halted.

“Patriarch Chen of Grand Elden Sect, you will be behind the construction of the defense line. Scarlet Hall and Trade Hall will hold support. Use everything in your arsenal and reserves so no regrets will come. If I will seek someone fleeting the scene, I will hold them accountable for the sake of this Maxim.” Old man Jackal ordered the front middle-aged man from earlier and others. He tried his best to solve this situation but lacked the means to go against the Dark Death… or even, the source of everything. The Dark Lunatic, Kong Reian was the biggest danger of them all.

“It is always the power that can solve these problems.” He sighed.

A few hours later, the majority of preparation was coming to the end.

4th planet within the constellation of the Prime Eldenrius, was surrounded by the brightness of a massive sun far away, but it was turning dimmer because a huge tip of the Dark Death penetrated the space. Massive energy undulations shook the surrounding space, twisting the space with vortexes and turmoil for hundreds of kilometers. It was the cause of using massive space formations to travel massive distances from the edges, here.

The interplanetary travel it performed was not so gentle, as the flow of massive energy and means of the Dark Death were quite savage. The entire ship came forth from the layers of energy undulation and warped space. It almost seemed the ship came behind the veil of invisible cloth or a layer of folded space that was visibly cracking and twisting.

Like a black bear in a snowy plane. It was quite catchy to the eyes of many below since the Dark Death was long upon the 4th planet. It was very close to the location it traveled to, with only a couple of hundred kilometers beyond the planet's surface. It stopped and hovered there for the time being, since it wasn't up to the Dark Death to destroy this humongous planet of millions of kilometers in diameter.

“What is that?”

“What an enormous ship!”

“Mom? Can I have a ship like that when I am older?”

“Is some famous Elder back from the Central region?”

Exclamation, shock, and curious questions filled almost every citizen. They looked up at the sky, to see the vision of the enormous ship. It was quite noticeable from the City of Eldenbright, and possibly a few others. The Dark Death stopped right above this city since it was Kong Reian's aim. No citizen of this city had seen a scene like this in their lives, and that also included the arrival of Prime Eldenrius. At least, it was never this jaw-dropping. The Alliance, nor Patriarch Jackal made the information about the upcoming attack public. It would cause panic and a meaningless mess in order. Some would even hope to please the Dark Lunatic, to appease to their lives. No one wanted to have any sabotage happen on the side of the righteous.

Upon the Dark Death's stabilization, all of a sudden, the beams of light, dozens of kilometers wide, shot up into the sky from many locations. They were custom defensive lines that were readily available by the Alliance. Hundreds of them were across the entire region of this planet, reaching 40 kilometers to the sky before they stopped and started to form a barrier.

It was a defensive line that was empowered by countless recourses and energy. The beams ended up before the end of the atmosphere, where they stopped, in order to turn into layered patterns of massive shields. Each beam was performing its part in this massive planet-sized formation, and many sects were taking part of each beam of light.

Above the barrier, Dark Lunatic Kong Reian stepped from the ship from a wide gate to watch over the 4th planet of his target. Without anything or anyone, he didn't need any protection, as he was stronger than the ship itself.

Alas, the truth was far from his appearance, since wouldn't let his ship ruin the cause of his goal. He smiled and let his massive energy out. The dark matter danced around his body in a fashion of the most terrifying sight that every immortal could notice. A gigantic storm of evil pressure and aura was coming from his body. It was a domineering aura of horror, and power to rule over the others.

Enveloping the part of the ship and its surroundings, Kong Reian was reading himself by releasing as much hidden power as he had, but it didn't bother him one bit. He had plenty of energy within his core, making this only a portion of his power. It was the so-called aura of the powerful, but any immortal from below would lie if they would think they had seen someone more sinister than this.

Little by little around him, 8 globe-like objects appeared from the storm that went around his body. The scene changed as if the ruler of space pulled his gaze to an insignificant planet below. Kong Reian's piercing gaze looked with quite a powerful gaze down below. He was seeing someone or something. Perhaps he was even watching the little ploys that were happening down below under his careful plot of a messenger.

Shadows and energy subsided a little by little around him until only the dark energy went beyond the limits. It wanted to reach the planet below, but walls of brightness stopped its path. The barriers stopped the attack as the hundreds of pillars stood firm below it. They stood there with the power and energy of thousands, if not millions, of experts.

Globes within Kong Reian's reach were emitting quite peculiar energy. They started to vacuum the surroundings' energy within them. With a previous energy that Kong Reian emitted, it went to the globes instead. They were dark purple, grey, white, and a few more colors. The colors of energy slowly seeped out of his body, reaching the 8 Globes, while a giant vortex emerged around his whole being. It was about a few hundred meters in diameter, but even that, it was quite a big one, since every corner was filled with energy.

“15 minutes.” Kong Reian said out loud, as he closed his eyes, and hovered cross-legged inside of this vortex.

His words were for the people behind him. From the entrance of the ship, there were some of the 10 bloody figures. They were hidden behind their leader so far, and the thick foggy energy of the Dark Death made their appearance noticeable. They flew towards and stopped before their master's vortex.

“Make a way, weaklings! The time is up for my fists and killing. Afterward, everything is up to your luck.” The biggest man of them all pushed himself forward. He was bumping into others on his way to the front. He was the biggest of them all, but not the brightest. Not like this bothered him at all, since his powerful body was quite a ferocious fortress.

“What about Prime Eldenrius? Will he arrive? Is he here?” Asked the smallest-looking figure.

“How could he come here? It is already late for him since we managed to come all the way here.” Added a giant figure.

“Begin!” Barked Kong Heian as he didn't have the patience to wait any longer.

From the Dark Death, the dozens of other gates to the open space opened, revealing hundreds of soldiers that began to fly from within. They had many kinds of armor that were individually set for each soldier for the best equipment. They appeared ferocious and mad like their master, but every section of a few hundred of people had their specialty for each 1 bloody figure.

Apart from a single one of the 10, the rest took charge of each battalion of soldiers, which was under their command. The battle against the barrier began as 500 soldiers had each bloody figure as their commander. They traveled far and wide, charging at different sections of the barrier to weaken it as best as they could. Some battalions were more powerful than others, but the strongest had to be above the Headquarters, right below the Dark Death. Even with such a small battalion of Immortal, they made significant changes. Small cracks began to appear around the barriers, leading to many surprises down below.

To anyone's shock, chaos ensued on the 4th planet, as the people of lesser standing realized what was happening. The attack and sight of the area beyond were obvious. Invasion and destruction were closer to them than ever before. The bright barrier was clear to their eyes. There were always rumors about situations and gossip in the cosmos, and the this City of Eldenbright was a hub of Immoral lands, after all.

Information was sometimes key to the victory, and rumors of Dark Lunatic Kong Reian were a known threat by now. Many people recognized that, but it was more so the case of the Dark Death. Although, full knowledge of the Dark Death was not as known as it should be. As a tool, the acts of its master were always stronger than anything else.

Down from many sects and schools, armies of almighty figures went toward the sky. Their barriers weren't enough for these terrifying battalions, so they had to change them by themselves. Some were in charge of ships or riding beasts. Others fly in groups, and formations, hoping to help as much as they can. Skies were turning dark in their shadows, as many showed no end to them. This was a war for survival. They had to cease the attacks on the barrier, or they wouldn't last much longer. Keeping them running was already draining countless resources.

Alas, in order to stop, the defenders had to attack beyond the veils of barriers, as this was a core structure of any barrier. It worked both ways, but the former could go out of the barrier, under the direct view of the ones who made this barrier possible.

A bloodbath was the only word that could describe the following 10 minutes. Armies raised and fell down the sky, or floated in the empty space without gravity. Blood seeped into the cosmos, and explosion of many techniques, and explosions filled the sky. The base movement and ability to live in space were possible because each figure up in the sky was a cultivator and master of the energy. They were Immortal Cultivators of Immortal lands, in the realms where they reached the sky.

Though there were no equals in the armies and qualities of the Immortals. Some were stronger than others, and the armies of the 4th planet of Prime Eldenrius weren't up to the task, since they were not below a single banner. They were losing the lives of many experts in every clash, leading to massacres on the part of Kong Reian's armies.

The City of Eldenbright, in the Headquarters of the Alliance.

Old man Jackal watched the defenses from the ground as if it wasn't his concern. Though his fists were clenching his robes. A deep frown was on his face as he watched everything happening from a courtyard.

“Individual power in his army is way too powerful. No… It is ridiculous to have this quality. The planet won't suffer his attacks, but eventually, our energy will run out. The plan for interrupting their descent was a mistake. It only led to meaningless deaths, but not like it mattered much.” He couldn't help but sigh.

“It is time for the last chance.” he turned and faced the remaining change that was up to his decision.

The rest of the 100 Elders, with great personal power, but without sect or school behind their names, stood by his side. They decided to be led by him for their last assault against the Dark Lunatic Kong Reian. The majority used harsh techniques, and one-time treasures to achieve the highest possible power.

Walking from their headquarters, they ignored the sight above them. Kong Reian was the main attacker of the barriers, even though he didn't lay a finger on them. His energy and orbs of power were all he needed to make himself clear to care for anything. The amassing energy he was releasing was like a perfect target for assault since he was wide open and immobile, but using it against him… may be a terrible mistake.

Yet, they had no choice, but to do what they must. Whatever Kong Reian was doing had to be stopped, and there was also the course of his man assaulting the entire planet in multiple directions.

Old man Jackal and the rest of the Elders flew in the motion of the last legion that could stand before the Kong Reian. One particular elder drew a talisman from his pocket, and dazzling light enveloped them all. It was a one-time treasure that caused their aura to disappear, but the talisman shattered afterward. Then, each Elder flew fast, only stopping before the barrier in the hope of seeing any resemblance of hope. Alas, the change could only happen when they will try, so they entered the barrier to face the Kong Reian.

Old man Jackal then grabbed an unknown stroll that bathed the whole group in another strike of lights from an unknown source. They appeared unhinged, and with no sight of the incoming assault. It was as if they appeared from the thin air in front of Kong Reian's sitting position.

Then, a true fight and imposing fight started. Each elder exploded with a powerful fave of energy, and around Old man Jackal appeared 5 bright blue globes emitting natural and sharp energy that was much stronger than the surrounding elders. His piercing gaze was upon the man before him, who stopped his vortex of energy upon their arrival. He was no longer unmasked. Instead, he was open to the assault, which wouldn't happen if it would be a bother to him. At this point in the Cultivation realms, beings could realize the shifting fate in the reality. Kong Reian would have seen it from far away if someone close to him in power was approaching him.

Some of the other Elders did the same as their Jackal, but the number of their orbs did not exceed 4, and some did not even reach 1. Still, the auras of dozens of individuals made it quite a sight to behold. It even pushed the part of the sky cleaner, pushing Kong Reian's own energy away. This group pushed against the singular sitting person, and even the aura of the Dark Death was falling back a little.

Kong Reian opened his eyes and frowned. Suppressing the desire to attack by himself, he guided the massive vortexes of energy around him to attack this assault. He kept his otherwise godly powers suppressed for sudden situations such as this, but this wasn't that dangerous to him, as he was doing something else, than hoping for an assault.

A clash against the immortal figures ensued but calling it a clash wasn't right. Kong Reian's swept away every Elde with a single motion of a flick of his hand. The only one who withstood the flow of piercing energy was Old man Jackal, whose face revealed sweat and hesitation. They couldn't resist, but he could. “Not even a chance to strike him? How imposing power.” Jackal thought in helplessness.

“Hmph!” Kong Reian snorted upon the clear swipe that motioned the majority of the flies away.

“You with a 5 of them… Old man, you are not that bad yourself. Although, you are quite far from the old-fart Eldenrius. Still, you have a certain power for yourself, so that, I admire. The power is still poor, so… Xua, suppress and imprison him for our later entertainment.” Kong Reian muttered from his seated position.

A slender figure emerged behind his shadowy shimmers of energy. It was the smallest figure among the 10 generals. Xua appeared from behind without a need to fight down below because she wanted to accompany her master. It was not like the planet down below could defend against her master, so why she should be involved? She would rather watch from the back than bother with the attack herself.

Yet, this fly in front of her was interesting. She flew forward, and Xua pounced on the group without hesitation, ignoring Jackal for the time being. Releasing her dark crimson aura, her hand quenched power waves of her energy. The pressure swept the empty space for hundreds of kilometers in the motion of 2 attacks in the motions of 5 clawed hands. The majority of Elders ended this casual sweep, but the majority was endured by a massive amount of energy that Jackal let out.

“NOW or never!” Jackal shouted at the group, who stopped and stabilized themselves. He focused his full attention on the sudden arrival of a masked demon. He brought forward his energy akin to a massive sword of hundreds of meters. It was an azure sword that went against the crimson. A direct clash between two Immortals of incredible power shook the air by their aura alone. Even the space itself shuddered. With both palms facing each other, Old man Jackal motioned with them for the world sword to come towards the crimson figure who was casually pouncing towards him. Yet her hands were bare.

Xua found it boring to end it so soon, so she raised her right hand. Her slender fingers expanded with energy manifestation into the shape of a crimson claw that was the same size as herself. She caught the impact of the incoming sword and struggled for a moment before she shattered it into peace, and pounced at her enemy. Her fists clenched, and she didn't even move.

The Old man Jackal saw the failure of his attack, yet he wore a calm expression as he pressed his hands forward. A change within the shattered energy that was under his own technique caused the return of the energy. 2 blades manifested horizontally on each left and right. Two horizontal slashes were quick, but who was quicker? Pouncing Xua, or those two slashes?

Overcoming the tense sense of energy overflow, Jackal struck at the same time as her attack.

Swoosh!

Jackal shook at the impact, because the claw smashed into his chest, shooting him far away into space. He almost felt his whole being falling apart, as this was no light attack at all. He wasn't faster than her, but he wasn't slow either. Xua did not expect a sudden back attack, even though her attack was successful. Those two strikes halved her body into two parts at the moment she reached Jackal.

She looked with her crimson eyes forward, because the attack shattered her mask. Her face was shocked, yet with a pleasing sight on her otherwise clean face. She was young, and a devilish beauty. The residual force of her affected the rest of the Elders, which were sent flying away once again. Not like they would be of any help, since Xua focused only on the Old man Jackal at that last moment.

“Huff huff. What an attack,” Jackal grunted far away, pressing his hand to his chest. Inhaling and exhaling the invisible energy of the heavens, he was restoring some of his internal energy. He wanted to wait a couple of moments to finish the enemy. After all, he could tell the demonic girl was still alive.

Unfortunately, as it was, he never got a chance to finish her off. Something shook him to a core. It was an attack or a grip that left his energy helpless. A huge, scaled claw clenched around his torso. Not the manifested one out of the energy, but a real one, indicating a beast or a monster. He could not escape this one, and the sinister laughter of the upper half of the girl before him led much shock to his vision. She was far from him, but she quickly retrieved him closer.

A changed shape within her already manifested hand was only a farce. She was someone who Jackal never thought he would see ever again. A beast form… yet coming from a humanoid figure. That shouldn't happen, as the source… were gone. Should be gone. The universe was no longer accommodating them.

“Too bad for you, old man. This defeat can be your pride, as my claw hasn't quenched an Immortal in a long time.” Xua smiled at him from her upper body. Placing herself into the front of her claw, she licked the bloodied claw and began the process into her former appearance. The crimson energy flew from her upper body to her bottom with a surge of power and a bloody tendril made of her energy.

She glanced at the rest of the Elders who were coming back to save their leader. Snorting, Xua formed a wide range of crimson needles with residual blood from her wound. She ended them all to their very deaths with a flick of a single hand. None survived, as this attack obliterated their bodies and souls with countless needles. Their lives were nothing to her, as well as to Kong Reian's.

Xua turned around afterward as if nothing of importance happened. Glancing at the Kong Reian, she asked. “Wanna ask about Eldenbright or the Eldenrius? He may know something?”

Kong Reian was still indifferently watching the play as he asked. “Is he willing to talk?”

Xua clenched her claw. Blood floated from Jackal's mouth into a cosmos. He recalled the answers with great difficulty. It was a few hours prior to this assault.

He saw the Patriarch of the Endless Sky Hall's helpless expression. She told him her bad news. “His son used an interplanetary scroll of movement before my eyes. He could have brought cities' worth of people with him. He just glanced at me with a bothered look and said that Prime Eldenrius won't come in time. Then he disappeared.”

“H-he won't come here, you lunatics,” he replied through his gritted teeth.

“That is fortunate.” Xua raised her head and uncovered her tattered cloak that wasn't shattered or gone with the past attack. Only a little of her face was visible, but not, she revealed a pair of straight, slender horns. They were looking like something out of the Draconian race or something similar. It was a strange, demonic figure.

“The ABOVE won't allow your wicked convictions, Reian!” Old man Jackal muttered in agitation at the hands of Xua before falling unconscious of her impatience with being ignored. The increasing grip of Xua almost destroyed his very core, but he only fell unconscious because that was the will of Kong Reian. Although his previous words aimed toward Kong Reian. That was all he could muster before his strength was gone in Xua's claw.

“Let them.” Kong Reian muttered, smiling in return.

“15 Minutes are up.” Xua grabbed a crystal with her human arm underneath her tattered cloak and shattered it.

Within 20 seconds, every remaining soldier with their leaders flew from the sight that was the war beyond the barrier. They started hovering around the Dark Death, kneeling, or hovering far from Kong Reian. Their time to shine was gone.

Kong Reian looked down and around himself. Retracting globes into his body once again, he straightened his legs and stretched his body. Every shimmer of energy merged with him in this process as if a black hole was eating every single thing into his being.

He was compressing an enormous amount of energy into one special technique. One that needed that precious time to unleash the full potential to breach Eldenrius's defenses.

Within a couple of moments, Kong Reian started to form a massive pillar in the shape of a dark spear that appeared from the vast amount of energy. It launched from his very core, stretching quickly outwards. At first small, it continued forward until it reached kilometers in size. Kong Reian motioned with his hand, launching the spear toward the headquarters of the Alliance.

The barriers down below him led the people of the planet to travel as they wished from each side. Nothing from outside would come back unless you held a special token from the Alliance. The protected planet that held the layers of barriers was able to hold on until now.

It was no different this time.

The barrier stopped the humongous spear-like pillar. Its tip stopped a moment after it reaches it before a change occurred. The thick spear divided its tip into 5 parts as a small amount of the tip of the spear penetrated the barriers. It was resembling a wide massive claw of thousands of kilometers. The dense energy led to a massive explosion, ending up in the claw that grabbed the barrier from outside. The parts extended their fingers and pushed the barriers beyond the limit. Though, it seemed it was not enough.

The claw flexed its grip against the barrier in a hope of shattering, but all that happened was a lot of cracks. The barrier and energy from below even forced the penetrative spear back. Some technique or more energy was put into this part of the barrier. Soon enough after this, the attempt to force the barrier was over.

Another force penetrated right into the barrier, flying past the claw. It was the 2nd spear that flew right through the weakened parts of the clawed hand.

The entire city of Eldenbright shuddered as the attack smashed into the headquarters of the Alliance. The spear shattered the barrier as the pillars of energy was enough for this sort of attack, but it wasn't enough against Kong Reian's ploy. Not only the 2nd spear succeeded, but the shattered barrier also led to the massive claw striking the bare earth that spanned the entire sky.

People weren't ready. Fear and horrifying feelings caused their fearful eyes to watch the claw end on their land. It causes the ground to shatter, while the mountain claws meant nothing at this moment. The entire planet shook, letting many of the crevices and deep craters travel far from this attack.

Alas, the attack did not end there.

Another, much bigger spear than the previous ones appeared beyond the sky.

This was the 3rd spear that shot upon the vast destruction down below caused by the claw. Kong Reian glanced down with a smirk on his face, as countless people were gone in a few moments.

With protection gone, the 3rd spear traveled in a moment and reached the crater created by the claw and 2nd spear. It went deeper and reached further depths. Crevices traveled around the planet for thousands of kilometers in a few motions, soon spanning the whole globe. Life was disappearing with the destruction as the core place of the planet was destabilizing everything on the surface.

This could no longer be stopped. The planet itself went through the motion of being destroyed from within, so it was too much to endure. From a once-known hegemony of Immortal lands, would be a destroyed place of lifeless rocks. It was the reality of the power, which led to this moment.

Inside the unknown distance within the planet, the 3rd spear hit another obstacle. The massive throbbing sound penetrated the entire world as earthquakes reached every corner. It further cracked the humongous planet, letting some crevices with bigger cities even crumble into the cosmos. The tectonic plates of the planet reached the atmosphere, where they continued to crumble down.

An unknown time later, the destruction reached its end.

Magma was tearing apart the rest, with countless rocks and magma traveling from the core. There was no explosion amidst this end of a planet. Even though the third spear reached the core in succession and destroyed what it needed to.

Kong Reian appeared in the middle of what could appear to be the core of the former planet. His hand reached forward, regardless of the magma and vast amount of rocks. Everything made him tiny in comparison. Though he was motioning his energy to form what was now his. After dealing with the last obstacle with his own hands, he couldn't help but grin in pleasure.

Without using more strength than necessary, a gem-like globe appeared from the very core of a planet. It flew to his hands while radiating brightness and life. Deep in red, it resembled the gems he held before. Although, they were reabsorbed into his body to make use of their tremendous strength.

Following this, the former 4th planet of a Prime Eldenrius crumbled apart. It will remain drifting to the unknown, leading to nothing but death. It would only continue to shatter over the long years. That was its future. Perhaps this could lead to the birth of a new planet in the vast cosmos in a couple of millions or even longer years. Such was the fate of the death of planets and rules that went unchanged for even longer.

“That was kind of anticlimactic.” Joked Xua as she saw her master approaching the Dark Death, after getting what he wanted.

“All is worth it.” Kong Reian smiled.

“What is next? Oh, wait, I know that already.”

“Ship is remaining here. I will go into seclusion for 5 months. The ritual will come after. I hope you are prepared! Xua!” he barked at her, while not even glancing at her face. He passed her to enter his ship since what was important was her, or the men around her.

“Remain here? Is he joking? Some forces will definitely want revenge, which may be quite unpleasant. That's not that dangerous in itself, but it could be bothersome.” She argued.

Kong Reian already disappeared, not paying much more attention to Xua who kept following him inside. He returned to a quiet room with the utmost cosmic scenery and, as he was closing the door, said. “Deal with it.”

“Asshole.” She grunted as the door closed before her eyes. Putting on her new mask once again, she hummed a song of happiness and carelessness as she hopped toward her own living quarters.

“I hope he will keep his promise, at least,” she mumbled.

10 months later.

A small-sized ship in the shape of a butterfly opened the space passage to go through an incredible distance. This was the former location of the 4th planet of the Prime Eldenrius's constellation. It was a place where certain something happened 10 months ago, but they didn't know the full extent of the information. Only a few messages were able to reach other constellations, informing some powers of a certain incident.

A Group of men and women floated from the opening of this ship. They were surrounded by gloving light after they appeared outside where they continued forwards. A burly man almost 3 meters tall was in the charge of this group. Glancing around at the scenery of the destroyed fleets, he was disappointed that everything went according to his guesses. Everything was in shambles. Rocks, part of the planet were floating around. It was a basic sight of a destroyed planet.

However, this wasn't an ordinary one. It was once a majestic place created by Prime Eldenrius. It was a place of wealth that was famous even in the surrounding constellations, and the Central Region as a whole.

Then the group saw it. Something… It was floating among the debris and the destroyed fleets of smaller or bigger ships.

A floating river of blood surrounded the bisected body of a man. A cluster of bright gold skin was still visible behind the clear yellow-gold robe that made him a sun in this space. His body still radiated a little of luster, and even a distinguishable sword was floating around him. In fact, hundreds of them. Though the majority of them were cracked apart and few were even shattered beyond recognition.

“P-p-Prime Eldenrius?” the burly man exclaimed in shock to his core. The rest of the group was equally showing their twisted expressions of grief and surprise.

To their knowledge. Prime Eldenrius went on his way and bought vast amounts of treasures. He was an incredible figure in the Central region, but no one knew what he was coming with. The thing that happened in this region 10 months later shook the Immortal realms, as many understood it, that his revenge would be fierce. To their utmost shock, he died while fighting the one who damaged his reputation and something… more special.

Who knew he would die taking revenge for some pride?

Only a few knew the true reason behind the rage of this figure. After all, it was more than meets the eye. Small fries were oblivious to a bigger picture of hegemony who reached the level of creating their own constellations of planets.

And that was perhaps better for them, as ignorance was bliss.

Far away, on a distant dark lonely moon couple of constellations away.

Dark Death was already docked on this rocky planet for a few months. Soldiers were celebrating their return and successful battles. Cheering echoed throughout the whole Dark Death for a long time.

However, that was not important for the ruler of this ship. Kong Reian was seated on the moon planet a long distance away. A triangular formation of many symbols and shapes surrounded him.

As he did so, surrounding him were 9 globes. Even though he was sitting outside on this lifeless moon, he was sweating in a twisted red expression, even on this cold planet.

His blood flowed from his pores to the ground. This wasn't because he was injured. Instead, it was his own doing, with intentions only he and a few others would understand. All this blood had already stayed in the formation for a couple of days, but it continued to be replenished by a fresh one. The planet was keen on staying indifferent, unchanged all the same, all the time. It was perfect for the long process of this Ritual that was overseen by Xua.

He was sitting with crisscrossed legs while looking more shivered as days go by. He slowly fell to the ground after a couple of weeks. The energy manifested in the formation, and his blood was successfully gone from his body. Not like it was a bad thing. In fact, it was the reason to be glad.

9 globes remained rotating around Kong Reian until many destabilized after Kong Reian's reached the utmost limits. They shattered and the mysterious liquid fell down from them on the formation.

Everything that was happening had its observer. Being only a single figure, she was the cause for this formation to happen in the first place. From a small hill above the formation, Xua was hugging her knees, biting her nails under her mask in nervousness, and mumbling something only she heard.

“I swear to myself. What a true madman… Will he make it? He should… Promises…”

Years will pass by, and the dust on this planet will be indifferent to everything. Specks of new dust within the receding body of Kong Reian will continue to shiver, change, and fall from his body.

The first year moved on without many differences, apart from the seemingly, dead body of Kong Reian.

The second year was a stranger. The hardened blood from before shimmered around the strange patterns on the floor. It happened right around, and below laying Kong Reian, who remained unmoving all this time.

In the 4th year of this madness, the bones and skin that made the body of Kong Heian stood up. He walked toward the middle of the formation. His eyes were blank, with no life in them. He reached toward the sky with his palm. There was nothing within himself, but a haggard cloak that unraveled the completely empty insides.

He stared into the nothingness of the space.

Yet, something happened that his numb mind knew was a source of success. Shimmering dust flew from his hands. His fingers turned to dust, and particles fell to the ground as if they weight a lot more than they should. Formless pressure then disintegrated his body into tiny particles. It happened from his hands, legs, and all the way to his torso. These particles all fell down to the formation where they reached the same place where hardened blood and energy were kept for a couple of years already.

Alas, the body of the Kong Reian reached its rejuvenation, as his head and mind were the last to be turned to particles. It was the strangest of everything, apart from the core, which was completely empty of anything in his chest. as for the brain and head, it wasn't the case. There was still some blood, and some shiny and lightning particles also appeared.

Next, Xua heard a sudden rumbling when Kong Reian was no longer anywhere. 18 small objects of different colors, shapes, and auras appeared amidst the formation. They manifested in a matter of a few hours from his disappearance. This was a result and the reason for everything that he went through these 4 years. Blood and energy became one with the Kong Reian's dust, reaching a stabilization point as well as some rules that only Xua knew about.

Beginning to hover above the formation, the many strangely shaped objects instantaneously disappeared into the cosmos. The last strands of anything unordinary in the formation disappeared with the last speck of energy and even blood. There was nothing left in the formation. Not a speck of blood, dust, or energy. These 18 objects will go out there, seeking the unknown as if they have their mind on their own.

Xua got up from her leisure observation that went on for years. She watched every moment that went with Kong Reian. Her face was hidden behind the mask, but her shaking body could clearly make her not that obvious what her feelings were. Excitement? Gladness? Fear? Who knew?

“So it is true what you showed all those years ago?” She mumbled behind her mask, unsure who she was talking to. Kong Heian was nowhere to be seen, and there was nothing left of him, anyway.

“If you come back within a century or a millennium in a new whole, the universe will have its new ruler. The Above can try all they want and never show their faces in the rage of my ancestors. That is our promise, isn't it… Oh, sister… If only you weren't such a stubborn fool…”

Those were the twisted words of a twisted fate. Xua dismissed her words and thoughts after a while and rather walked towards the Dark Death after long 4 years of this madness. What went on here will remain a mystery for anyone but her. A few years of absence from her master was a small time frame in the Immortal Lands, so she was glad she made it that quickly. In most cases, this sort of madness would reach centuries of times. Yet, here she was, observing the impossible.

The Immortal lands were always places that can go for millions of years with little change, and that include the majority of Immortals, let alone the mortals who were less than a speck of dust.

For the next brief time, Dark Lunatic Kong Reian ceased his activity and even the Dark Death stopped its movement. His grand closure of making enemies out of many figures within the Central region left only hope for his infinite disappearance until his vast return.

His 18 parts that disappeared would seek their new purpose. They will be a new beginning where they would form anew, before forming into something else.
